Name and Number Please!

Scenario:

You are scheduled to fly but your flight gets cancelled and you need to call customer service to reschedule. You are stressed and disoriented by the trip going off the rails. You look on your itinerary for the airline’s customer service number. What they provide is 1-800-888-TACA - you pull out you blackberry and and come to the realization that your Blackerry phone keys do not have the letters on the number keys. What number do you dial? Remember you are stressed and flustered to begin with. What numbers on the keypad are TACA? I am guessing with a little thought you can decipher the last 3 (as I did)…but what number is T? When your brain is stressed, it is amazing how hard this is to come up with and frankly just adds to the stress.

Note to Marketing Department: If you are going to put letters in your phone number, at least provide the actual numbers in brackets following the letters. To help your stressed out Blackberry users.

  1. I’ve run into this problem several times. People tend to find it strange when you ask to borrow their cell to look at the keypad while holding your CrackBerry.
